On Saturday, April 13th, the Harborside Atrium in Jersey City will be hosting The Jersey City Brew Fest! Hang out on Harborside’s Waterfront Property and enjoy New York City’s skyline, drink beer, enjoy live music, play games, and enjoy food vendors from local restaurants.
On February 12th, Stone Brewing Company filed a lawsuit against MillerCoors for the rebranding of their Rocky Mountain themed Keystone beer. On their newly branded cans and cases, MillerCoors has dropped the “Key” in Keystone and simply write out “Stone.” Even on social media, MillerCoors has dropped the “Key” when referring to this beer. Well, Stone is not happy about it and thinks that MillerCoors should be “ashamed of themselves.”

7-Eleven unveiled a “Lab Store” in Dallas, Texas this month that features a Taqueria, craft beer refilling station, indoor and outdoor seating, and streamlined their checkout process by allowing customers to pay on their iPhone. 7-Eleven officials claim that this store is “experimental testing ground” but we all hope for success and more “Lab Stores” to open up country-wide.

A Match Made in Super Bowl Heaven
Last year it was recorded that Pizza Hut sold more than 1.7 million pizzas during the Super Bowl. This was before Pizza Hut became the official pizza sponsor of the NFL. This year they project that they will sell over two million pizzas! That’s a lot of dough.
Beer Person of the Year, Hollie Stephenson has made big waves in the beer industry and continues to do so working as head brewer at Guinness’ new Baltimore operation.
Hollie went to college at Ohio’s University of Akron and finished college in Washington D.C. In D.C. where she worked as a lobbyist, she found that she enjoyed spending her free time at a bar called Black Squirrel, where she grew a passion for craft beer. Her passion grew so large that she changed careers.
