Easter Beer Hunt

Are you reminiscent of the days when you used to wake up on Easter, grab your Easter egg basket and start hunting for Easter eggs, candy, and prizes?  I know I am.  I’m lucky if I still get to color Easter eggs for Easter.  The older we get, the more we notice that kids really do have all the fun!  Well, let’s change that this year.  How about an Easter beer hunt?  I’m game!

Start by crafting baskets for each of your guests.  Or even glorious Easter sacks?  We need something sturdy to hold a possible six pack of beer.  For some of the competitive folk…maybe more.

Now, you have the option of supplying the beer, or, you could ask each of your guests to bring a six-pack with them.  Let’s just say that you are supplying the beer.  Here’s what you do next…

Whether you plan on doing the hunt in your house, or in your backyard, hide every single beer bottle and make sure you know how many you put out for your guests.  Once guests arrive at your house, give them their glorious Easter basket and send them hunting.  They’re not allowed to stop until every bottle is found.  So, make sure you hide them well.  Also, make sure they have a beer or cocktail in hand so they don’t get parched from all of the effort.  The winner obviously is the guest that brings back the most beer.  Best party favor ever!

Hope you have fun!

Cheers,

Danyelle

Meet me at the bar. Whether it’s barbells, whiskey libraries, rum sanctuaries, or craft breweries…I’ll see you there. I travel far and wide for a good IPA, I can get down with a good Manhattan, and home is where the wine is. If my taste buds are pleased, you’ll know about it. Oh, and I like to lift. So, enjoy my fitness journey with a glass of wine.
