Beacon 70’s Bloody Bar

Perched on the Metedeconk River and overlooking the Forge Landing Marina in Brick, New Jersey is a fantastic spot for brunch, dinner, drinks, and music!  Beacon 70, built out of reclaimed wood from the iconic Beacon Hotel in Point Pleasant embodies a 19th century industrial modern steampunk design with unique lighting, a waterfront folding glass wall, a 10ft see-thru glass fireplace, and 60 HD TVs.  Their food ranges from lobster, to wings, to brick-oven pizzas!  And, their drink menu is definitely something to rave about.

Let’s talk brunch.  That’s what we all look forward to on the weekend anyway, right?  Beacon 70 serves brunch from 12:00 PM – 4:00 PM every Sunday and you can order anything from the menu a la carte.  There is also a brunch buffet that runs from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.  The buffet is $24.95 per person and offers food such as chicken, beef, fish, pork, made-to-order omelets, pasta, and more.  A very healthy selection of food that’s for sure.

But for the more exciting part of brunch…Bloodies!  Beacon 70 offers brunch cocktails from 12:00 PM – 2:00 PM.  These offers include $3 mimosas and bellinis, $6 frozen rosés, and a $6 bloody Mary bar.  And this bloody Mary bar is out of this world!  Choose from over 20 different toppings and mix-ins including shrimp, bacon, celery, hot sauces, cured meats, cheeses, pickled veggies, and more!  Don’t mind if I do.

This spot is a must when visiting the Jersey Shore.  So make sure you stop by on a Sunday and hit up that bloody bar for a truly magical brunch experience!

Cheers,

Danyelle

Meet me at the bar. Whether it’s barbells, whiskey libraries, rum sanctuaries, or craft breweries…I’ll see you there. I travel far and wide for a good IPA, I can get down with a good Manhattan, and home is where the wine is. If my taste buds are pleased, you’ll know about it. Oh, and I like to lift. So, enjoy my fitness journey with a glass of wine.
